Interact 2009 - Videos

Video evidence can sometimes be inadmissable, but in this case there's a collection of videos to delight and remind you of our time at Moulton.

CLADA - Building Societies

Those who arrived for Thursday evening inevitably found themselves in the bar, and immediately accosted by the CLADA boys. Their "Venn That Tune" game was the ice-breaker, which amazingly somehow lead to the formation of whole new societies, with flags, laws and even performances of their brand new national anthems!

Simon Davey

Providing late accompaniment to the introductory soiree was guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Simon Davey. With an enviable breadth of contemporary and traditional song knowledge his restrained, pleasing style soon turned a rambunctious bunch of quaffers to a rapt audience.

Sadly there is no video evidence of this, but the performance definitely deserves a decent mention!

Jed Grimes

Friday of the conference included an evening of entertainment. Delegates were first regaled by the "north-east's secret weapon," folk artist Jed Grimes. His acoustic set brought song and laughter together as he showed why his voice, charisma and musicianship have received top-level accolades for over thirty years.

The Divi

Jed was followed by a bunch of erstwhile musos hastily cast together in a fit of pique desperation record time. With much hilarity they coined themselves "The Divi", and brought a set of boogie blues to the more than willing dancing delegates of Interact '09.
